I recently listened to
John Piper's biographical message on the life of Adonirum Judson. It is a powerful message and I highly recommend the whole thing. His closing line is ringing in my ears and I hope it rings in yours. It begs for prayerful pondering.
The question is not whether you will die, but whether the death you die will bear much fruit.
John 12:24-25
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
